Sexual Pleasure: What young women believe

From a young age, girls can feel pressured or empowered to engage in sexual activity, whether they enjoy it or not. Author Peggy Orenstein, investigates the discrepancies around mens and women's sexuality and has written numerous articles and books on the controversial topic.

She discusses that pleasure is the key element missing for women in sexual relationships and calls on us to 'close the orgasm gap' in our sex lives. She does this by breaking taboos and speaking to girls from a young age about sex, their bodies, intimacy and pleasure.

Over the past three years, she has interviewed girls ages 15-20 about their attitudes towards sex and also their personal experiences. What she found was fascinating and quite simply, shocking.

Watch the video of her findings below!
